Who is popular today?

Let’s face facts. Here in the West we have not found a way to live with the coronavirus. Every attempt in every European country to ease out of a lockdown has led to a resurgence of cases, pressure on intensive care beds and the reimposition of that lockdown. Policy makers have jumped from one regime to another, in a bewildering array of tiers, quarantines and bubbles, and yet still we find  infections surging.
