One hundred fire officers were sent home after one officer at the Crown Point Fire Station tested positive for covid19 on Sunday.
Fire officer and Tobago division PRO David Thomas told Newsday the division is working to ensure service is not compromised.
He said the station has been sanitised three times and it is expected to be sanitised once more. He said all the officers sent on leave were tested and are awaiting results.
As of Tuesday morning, Tobago has 22 active cases. Overall, 128 of 1,929 samples sent for testing have returned positive. The number of deaths remains at two.
