Let there be lights

What could be the most remote place to hunker down during these unfathomable times? I’ve considered caves, far-flung huts and tiny boats anchored in near-inaccessible reaches. But these are flights of fancy as most of us need the sustenance of company and communications. I’ve travelled a lot alone, and very happily most of the time. Sometimes in extremely wild places, I imagine I am the last person on Earth, even when I know there’s a tour group around the next boulder and the faint echo that “eternity is mine” is actually the guide’s Alice Cooper mobile ringtone.
