Large blaze at Big O Tires West Shore closes Old Island Highway

The Old Island Highway is closed near the View Royal Casino as firefighters tackle a large blaze at Big O Tires West Shore.
View Royal Fire Department is at the scene and working to control the fire.
Thick black smoke poured from the building and flames could be seen shooting high into the air.
The auto repair shop at 1705 Island Highway has been evacuated, as have neighbouring businesses, including the Serious Coffee and National Car Rental.
It’s unclear if anyone has been injured. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
