Firefighters in Washington DC used an engine hose to help people stay cool on August 28 as anti-racism protesters rallied for criminal justice reform at the Lincoln Memorial. Footage of Engine 23 shows children and adults running through the spray. According to local weather reports, temperatures at the march reached into the mid-90s. The Washington Post said thousands participated in the march for criminal justice reform, 57 years after Martin Luther King Jr.’s famed speech at Lincoln Memorial during the March on Washington.
