Here’s Donny, setting a shining example as ever. The president has “taken to Twitter”, a formulation I will only ever use with quotation marks deployed, to complain about further confrontations in Portland, Oregon between protesters and law enforcement, and also to write:
The Democrats took the word GOD out of the Pledge of Allegiance at the Democrat National Convention. At first I thought they made a mistake, but it wasn’t. It was done on purpose. Remember Evangelical Christians, and ALL, this is where they are coming from-it’s done. Vote Nov 3!
A former US senatorial candidate says the virtual Democratic National Convention left the word God out of the nation’s most famous and solemn oath.
“The DNC omitted ‘one nation under God’ from the Pledge of Allegiance,” said Peggy Hubbard, who lost Illinois’ Republican primary election in March, in an 20 August Facebook post.
