Prime Minister Scott Morrison and education minister Dan Tehan are on the offensive against higher education. But students are fighting back.

The federal government is push to raise the cost of Arts degrees to $50,000 while cutting $700 million in university funding.

Now is the time to escalate the fight against its rotten deal and fight for a vision of free and publicly funded higher education.

Students, teachers, staff and community supporters are set to protest on August 28 to demand:
1. Stop the Liberal governments proposed fee hikes and funding cuts! Stop the cuts on campus - no course cuts, no job cuts.
2. Fully Funded Higher Ed - Fee Remission for all! No removal of government funding!
3. Maintain the rate - welfare needs to stay above poverty levels.
