Montreal: Re “Transgender woman stabbed to death in Bronx apartment building” (July 26): I applaud you for reporting this, as people need to see how trans lives are in constant danger. My concern has to do with the final paragraph: “The area is known for prostitution, but it was not yet clear whether the victim was involved in sex work, according to police sources.”
