Former PM’s ‘carbon footprint the size of his ego’

Sky News host Chris Kenny says Kevin Rudd “has a carbon footprint the size of his ego” following the former prime minister’s latest actions.
It comes as Mr Rudd and his wife recently bought a new beach house on the Sunshine Coast.
Mr Kenny said they were “upgrading from their current $3 million place to a $17 million mansion”.
“So, this is the way to save the planet, have a mansion on the coast and hope the oceans don't swamp you, have a multi-million-dollar apartment in Brisbane, and digs in New York City too”.
“This is what many would call hypocrisy”.
Mr Kenny also said the former prime minister had a “silly reaction” to a recent interview between the Sky News host and environmentalist Michael Shellenberger.
“Rudd didn't engage on the facts or the arguments, the fact Shellenberger wants climate action, wants to reduce emissions,” he said.
