The majority of Queenslanders support Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk's hardline stance on border closures, according to a new survey.
A Courier Mail poll, which surveyed 10,000 Queenslanders, revealed about 83 per cent were in support of keeping the borders closed.
However, businesses on the Queensland-New South Wales border were less convinced as they were among the hardest hit by the closure.
The tourism industry in Queensland loses up to $2 billion every month the borders remain closed.
