The media will do everything it can to ensure Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese leads Labor to a victory at the Eden-Monaro by-election despite the 100-year history indicating he will according to Sky News host Paul Murray.
“If history is any guide, and it has been every guide for more than 100 years, the Labor Party should win”.
The last time a government won a by-election off the opposition was in 1920 in the seat of Kalgoorlie.
“But Albo is scraping because right now, he is well and truly on the backburner,” Mr Murray said.
“Albo really needs to win what every opposition has won since 1920.
“The media will do all they can to make sure that that result takes place.”
