The Victorian government is considering suburban lockdowns and coronavirus checkpoints in a bid to drastically contain the increasing number of daily infections in the state.
The state’s Deputy Chief Medical Officer Professor Michael Kidd warned the recent rise in cases is not a second wave it is merely an outbreak.
