Palaszczuk remains reluctant to reveal Qld border plan

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has remained resolute in her reluctance to indicate when Queensland would see its borders reopened.

"When's the end of the month," Ms Palaszczuk asked a reporter, pointing to her government's intention to review their border plan on June 30.

"There is national concern about the situation in Victoria," she said.

"We don't want a second wave and we don't want that community transmission here.

"The Chief Health Officer will be providing government with her advice and we will be taking her advice so let's not pre-empt anything."

Ms Palaszczuk remained coy on whether any other restrictions would be fast-tracked but said her government was "looking at opening up Queensland faster".
