Victoria police are looking for an 84-year-old man who requires medication and may be confused.

Donald Wickstrom was reported missing Thursday morning by his family, who are deeply concerned for his well-being, said department spokesperson Bowen Osoko. Wickstrom was last seen just after 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Fairfield area close to downtown.

Victoria police say Wickstrom is considered high risk because of his medical conditions, which require medication.

Wickstrom is white with medium-length grey hair that is thin on top. He is five-foot-seven with a slim build and was last seen wearing a grey jacket, brown shirt and beige pants.

He is known to frequent the Cook and Fairfield area as well as Beacon Hill Park.

Police ask anyone who sees Wickstrom to call 911.
