Police officer shot dead in Auckland

A police officer has been shot dead and another is seriously injured after an attack in New Zealand.
The officers were carrying out a routine traffic stop at Massey in West Auckland, when shots were fired.
A member of the public has also been hit and injured.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern described the death as "devastating news".
