Sky News contributor John Jordan says former National Security Adviser John Bolton was "hated by the left, kind of liked by the right and hated by everybody" as he releases a tell-all book attacking US President Donald Trump.
Mr Jordan defended President Trump following criticism from Mr Bolton that Mr Trump was inappropriately friendly with world dictators.
"Nobody has been harder on the Chinese and North Koreans," Mr Jordan said.
"He engages in personal diplomacy but then where it counts - defence, budgets and sanctions - he draws a very hard line.
"This is the same guy that was the leading architect and advocate for the war in Iraq."
Mr Jordan also suggested Russia wanted Joe Biden to win the US Presidential Election and for the Democrats to implement their Green New Deal to prop their economy back up on the oil trade.
"You have to follow the money to know where the pressure points are globally," he said.
