Sunday afternoon’s NRL game between the Bulldogs and the Roosters has been postponed due to a COVID-19 scare.

Bulldogs player Aiden Tolman has been immediately sent to be tested for COVID-19 in the wake of revelations his children may have been exposed to the disease after their school in Sydney’s south was closed due to a staff member testing positive to the novel coronavirus.

Mr Tolman's family has been told to self-isolate.

The league say they are not prepared to take any chances when it comes to the health of players.

The game has been postponed until 7pm on Monday night.
