‘Selfless volunteers are the better Australia’ which protesters seek

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says “the best of this country,” represented by the 300 volunteers who spent two days searching the bush for a young autistic boy, have “quietly” shown up the protesters by “giving” instead of “demanding”.

On Monday, William Callaghan became separated from his family who were walking in the bush at Mount Disappointment in Victoria.

Mr Bolt said “these rescuers weren't Australians protesting for a better Australia but these were Australians who were that better Australia”.

It is these police, emergency services and volunteers who “do us proud”.
