Sky News host Rita Panahi says President Trump cannot be blamed for the ongoing US race riots as “most of these crime riddled cities are Democrat cities”.

She said Minneapolis – where the riots begun after the death of unarmed African-American man George Floyd – is “about the most Left wing corner of American you can find”.

It comes amid outrage over President Donald Trump announcing he will resume in person rallies within the next two weeks.

Ms Panahi told Sky News host Paul Murray the same publications which were “printing inspirational photos of aerial shots” of the mass protests splatted across the US are “suddenly alarmed that a fraction of that crowd might get together at a Trump rally”.
