Police arrested at least six people in Hyde Park, London, on May 15, after a large crowd gathered to protest the UK’s lockdown, according to the Evening Standard. Among those arrested was Piers Corbyn, brother of former Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn, who spoke at the protest and linked the coronavirus to 5G technology and said the pandemic was a “pack of lies to brainwash you and keep you in order.” Footage recorded at the scene shows a large group of people gathered in the parl, with no social distancing efforts visible.
