Sky News host Chris Kenny says Sydney Morning Herald Journalist Jenna Price is “championing groups that attack commercial media by intimidating its lifeblood” in advertising revenue.
Mr Kenny said “anonymous left-wing outfits” are using social media to “threaten advertisers” from being on media which airs “right of centre views”.
He said “incredibly” in an article penned by Ms Price, she acknowledges these “online bullies” and says democracy is “better off” without Alan Jones being on the radio, following his retirement announcement on Tuesday.
“Imagine the screaming if right-wing groups bullied companies to drop their ads in the Herald until they sacked her?” Mr Kenny said.
“I reckon the Herald is foolish to run this stuff, I think its demeaning, self-defeating, intellectually barren and insulting to their audiences”.
