Andrew Constance wants state Nationals leader John Barilaro to step aside so he can run for the seat of Eden-Monaro, according to Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell. “NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro wants to run but he was hoping for the unequivocal support of his Liberal ministerial colleague Andrew Constance to do so and that hasn’t been forthcoming,” he said. "Constance actually wants Barilaro to pull out so he can run.” A three-cornered contest has emerged following the resignation of Labor MP Mike Kelly last week. Mr Clennell said both men cannot run as it would leave the state Coalition government’s majority vulnerable. "Barilaro and Constance can’t both run when Gladys Berejiklian only has a two seat margin herself,” he said. "Barilaro confirms and Constance is out."
