Robber leaves shoe as clue in Campbell River liquor store holdup

Campbell River RCMP are investigating an armed robbery at a liquor store.
Police were called to the Big Rock Liquor Store at 9:50 p.m. Friday to a report that a masked man had brandished a knife and demanded money.
He escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash. No staff were injured in the robbery, police said.
Officers set up a containment area and deployed police dogs, but did not locate the suspect.
The suspect lost a black Nike running shoe when he fled the area.
Police ask anyone who might know who the shoe belongs to or can provide any information about the suspect’s identity to contact Campbell River RCMP at 250-286-6221.
