With the London Marathon postponed because of coronavirus restrictions, organizers of the event have urged people across the UK to instead take part in the 2.6 Challenge to raise vital funds for charities. The 2.6 Challenge urges athletes to continue to raise money for charities while completing physical exercises involving the numbers two and six. The London Marathon was originally scheduled for April 26. This video shows lightweight Olympic rower Ellie Piggot doing 26 star jumps in order to raise funds for Bedfordshire-based Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice. “Donating to @SueRyderStJohns in memory of my first rowing coach Mick Deards,” Piggot said on Twitter. “He passed away in 2017 and the hospice took great care of him in his last few days. As a nod to his infamous circuits, here’s 26 star jumps,” she added. Credit: Ellie Piggot via Storyful
