Polls across the US in key battleground states show former vice president Joe Biden leading President Donald Trump, but it is "way too early to say that Joe Biden can't lose or that Donald Trump can't win" according to The Australian's Troy Bramston.

Mr Bramston said though, the polls are "worrying signs for the President," ahead of the general election in November.

He also pointed to President Trump's approval ratings now sitting in the "mid-to-high 40s," which is low "by historical standards".

Sky News host Rita Panahi said Mr Biden will "struggle" as she said he cannot "complete a coherent sentence".
