Sky News host Paul Murray says people in Victoria “deserve to feel safe” as Victoria Police no longer require criminals out on bail to report to a police station.

Mr Murray said the decision to let criminals on bail for “murder, theft, drug crimes” to not report to police station is “without doubt the dumbest, worst, the bad decision that has been made” during the coronavirus pandemic.

“The whole reason bail exists is (as) as halfway house between full liberty and tightly controlling your movement”.
