Police investigate 'suspicious package' near parliament buildings

Ottawa police and the RCMP closed off a large area near 90 Wellington St. Saturday morning to investigate a suspicious package. The call was received shortly before 11 a.m. police saiud. Wellington Street was closed between Elgin and O’Connor streets, and Bank Street was closed north of Queen Street. Further information was not immediately available.
