Prince William has opened an emergency COVID-19 hospital in Birmingham via a video call where he commended the country's efforts to tackle the coronavirus.

The National Exhibition Centre has been transformed into the health facility and has a 500 bed capacity with enough resources to extend to 1,500 beds.
