Liverpool supporters attended a minute’s silence at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool on April 15 in memory of the 96 people who died in the Hillsborough disaster 31 years ago. This footage shows people gathering at Anfield in silence, before breaking into applause after the stadium announcer marks the end of the minute’s silence. A final memorial service was due to be held at Anfield on the 31st anniversary of the tragedy but had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to the BBC.
