Staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center cheered for the hospital’s Deputy Chief Nursing Officer on April 13 as he was discharged from intensive care during his recovery from the new coronavirus, COVID-19. Footage by the hospital, which is located in New York, shows Kevin Browne’s colleagues lining the corridor to clap and cheer as he leaves ICU to recover at home. According to the hospital, Browne has been a member of their team for over 22 years, and it was “all smiles behind the masks” as he was discharged.
