Overseas governments are extending lockdowns and stimulating their economies with huge financial packages in a bid to soften the impact of the coronavirus. The World's death toll has surged past 100,000 according to the Johns Hopkins University tracker. Italy narrowly remains the worst affected country with nearly 19,000 deaths, which is approximately 200 more than the deaths recorded in the United States. 980 people have lost their lives in the United Kingdom in just 24 hours, taking the death toll to 8,958. United States President Donald Trump announced he'll listen to the medical experts before deciding whether to relax social distancing measures.
