Singer Bill Withers dies aged 81

On Saturday, the music world mourned the loss of acclaimed soul singer Bill Withers, aged 81.
Mr Withers died from heart complications in his Los Angeles home.
His family paid tribute to him as "a solitary man with a heart driven to connect to the world."
The musician became a household name in the 1970s and his songs have remained a major influence upon the music industry.
