Coronavirus forces Inglish Easter into a virtual auction

Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster says the Inglis Easter will be a virtual auction only due to COVID-19.
Speaking to Racing Dreams on Saturday, Mr Webster said “there will be no horses, no buyers, no owners and no media when the auctions run”.
Instead he said Inglis would broadcast the auction online to people across the world “who will be clicking on a bid button”.
“We don’t want anyone to come out to Riverside, it’s the first time you’ll hear me say that,” he said.
Mr Webster said the second round of horses will be sold in a physical sale on July 5, “assuming bio security restrictions be lifted by then”.
