Residents at a retirement home in England recently played a giant-sized game of KerPlunk to lift their spirits amid the coronavirus lockdown. Footage shared by Fir Villa Residential Home Yeovil, shows a number of its residents enjoying the oversized version of the iconic family game. The game was made by Fir Villa’s activities coordinator Laura McAllister, using garden netting, a cardboard box, bamboo canes, and plastic balls. McAllister said she was inspired after seeing the life-sized version of Hungry Hippos played at another nursing home. “We played our own game of Hungry Hippos here and I was thinking what else we could do,” she told Metro UK.
