over 5 years in themercury
Julian Assange has been denied bail from a south London jail after arguing he was at risk of contracting COVID-19.
Mr Assange's lawyers told the court the Wiki-leaks founder had a history of chest and tooth infections which placed him in the higher risk category however the court ruled against him and said the coronavirus pandemic was not grounds for release.
