The Disney Springs shopping complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, was “nearly abandoned” on March 18. Many of its stores closed on March 17, and the few visitors were practicing social distancing. According to Attractions Magazine, which captured this footage, the stores owned and operated by Disney were all temporarily shut down, though some other restaurants and shops maintained by outside vendors were still open.
