about 4 years in dailytelegraph

New York City’s celebrated Grand Central Terminal railway hub is usually a sea of green on St Patrick’s Day, but the station was much quieter this March 17 as New Yorkers stayed in their homes amid the COVID-19 pandemic. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said he was considering a “shelter in place” order on March 17 as officials increased measures to slow the spread of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. As of March 17, more than 1,500 people in New York State had tested positive for the virus, with 814 of the cases in the city. Twelve people had died from the virus, including at least seven in New York City, The New York Times reported. Credit: Hava Pasha via Storyful
