A scheduled NBA game between Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder was stopped before tip-off on March 11 after a player tested positive for the coronavirus. Shortly after the game suspension, the NBA put the remainder of the basketball season on hold while it considered the “next steps for moving forward in regard to the coronavirus pandemic.” The announcement included confirmation that an unnamed Jazz player had returned a preliminary positive test for COVID-19. The player was named in news reports as Rudy Gobert. This video, filmed at the game in Chesapeake Energy Arena, Oklahoma City, shows officials talking in a huddle while Thunder and Jazz players warm up on court. At least three people in Utah had contracted COVID-19, while the United States had recorded a total of 938 cases and 29 deaths as of March 11. President Donald Trump also notified the public on Wednesday that all travel from continental Europe to the US was banned for 30 days. Credit: Michael Kinney Media via Storyful
