Australian schools are preparing for extended closures in a bid to slow the spread of the coronavirus. A second staff member at a Melbourne school became the second confirmed case of human-to-human transmission in Victoria after they contracted the virus. Several schools in New South Wales also closed briefly this week due to the virus.
