The leaders of the Democratic Party “are panicked” at the idea “socialist” Bernie Sanders could be their nominee, says the President of the Center of the American Experiment John Hinderaker. His comments come in the wake of Super Tuesday polling results, which has seen candidate Joe Biden receive a huge surge to his campaign. Mr Biden picked up a number of states including Alabama, Arkansas, North Carolina, Virginia, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Oklahoma and Tennessee. While Bernie Sanders managed Super Tuesday state wins in California, Colorado, Vermont and Utah. “I thought Biden was done for,” Mr Hinderaker told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “The leaders of the Democratic party are panicked at the idea that Bernie Sanders could be their nominee … so this is really a ‘stop Sanders movement in large part,” he said.
