However Clive Palmer is the first in line with the Townsville Bulletin reporting that Mr Palmer will take former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to court over claims that Mr Turnbull caused immense damage to his reputation after the $300 million collapse of Queensland Nickel in 2016.

Mr Palmer labelled the former Prime Minister a bitter and twisted trouble-maker.

Adoni Media Managing Director Leisa Goddard told Mr Gleeson Clive Palmer “is no stranger to controversy” and “has the money” to push his recently announced defamation case against Malcolm Turnbull “as far as he can”.

Ms Goddard said that both men have deep pockets so this case “could be an interesting one to watch”.
