Sky News host Rowan Dean says if Joe Biden is elected as the Democratic nominee there is "good news (as) even the coronavirus can't knock Trump out".

Former US Vice President Joe Biden has made a comeback in the presidential race, winning the South Carolina primaries by a landslide.

South Carolina was the 77-year-old Democratic candidate’s first ever caucus win after launching the first of three presidential campaigns more than three decades ago.

Bernie Sanders’ big loss at South Carolina means he now holds a smaller lead as the national Democratic front runner.

"If it's Biden, Trump can take a holiday from now until November," Mr Dean said.
