Who is popular today?

This election has got off to a weird start. Having been desperate for one, Boris Johnson appears to have joined a witness protection scheme, leaving the battlefield clear for Labour and the Lib Dems and, of course, a toe-curling gaffe from Jacob Rees-Mogg . I doubt we'll see much of the slouching Commons Leader as he finds himself detained on urgent constituency business, locked in a cupboard with gaffer tape across his gob, following his crass, cruel comments about Grenfell, for which he rightly apologised.
