Rantanen, 22, was a 2019 NHL all-star who finished second in Avs scoring with 87 points (31 goals) last season. He is coming off his three-year entry-level contract, having produced 171 points (60 goals) in his last two seasons. Rantanen was the 10th overall pick in the 2015 draft.
