Jabeur is furious with herself when she gives the break straight back to Pliskova, who is now serving for the first set. Pliskova quickly has two set points at 40-15. On the first, Jabeur jabs a forehand into the tramlines, then chips her racket into the court and calls for the trainer. I think the trainer will have to give her something much stronger than some treatment to her right knee if Jabeur is to get back into this. Pliskova, as she did in the second round, looks formidable.

Good news for Juan Martin del Potro fans. The likeable and perennially unlucky Argentinian, who had yet another surgery in June, this time on a fractured right kneecap that forced him to miss the US Open, will be back in action next month:
