Derek Austin Cornelius (born 25 November 1997) is a Canadian soccer player who plays for FK Javor Ivanjica in the Serbian SuperLiga.Born in Ajax, Ontario, Derek Cornelius started playing when he was selected for the 1996 House League All-Star team. Then he got selected by Ajax Thunder U-8 at 6 years old. Next season he was the Unionville Milliken Challenge Cup Champions Most Valuable Player.
