Yaroslav Volodymyrovych Rakitskiy (Ukrainian: Ярослав Володимирович Ракицький, pronounced [jɐroˈslɑu̯ βoloˈdɪmɪroβɪt͡ʃ rɐˈkɪt͡sʲkɪj], born 3 August 1989) is a Ukrainian footballer currently playing as a defender for Shakhtar Donetsk. He is also a member of the Ukraine national football team, he made his first team appearance for Ukraine national football team on 10 October 2009 and scored his first goal on 14 October of the same year.
