Teryl Austin (born March 3, 1965) is an American football coach and former player who is currently the defensive coordinator for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL).Austin was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania. He played college football at the University of Pittsburgh from 1984 to 1987, where he was a four-year letterman and three-year starter.
