Stefano Sollima (born 4 May 1966) is an Italian film and television director. He is best known for his crime-drama works such as Romanzo criminale - La serie (2006–2008), ACAB – All Cops Are Bastards (2012), the Gomorrah TV series (2014–2016), and Suburra (2015).Born in Rome, Sollima is the son of the director and screenwriter Sergio Sollima. He started his career as a camera operator realizing numerous reports from war zones for several television networks, including CNN, CBS, and NBC.In 1991 Sollima debuted as a director with the short film Grazie, which was awarded at the Turin Film Festival. His following short films were selected in important festivals, including Cannes Film Festival, Venice Film Festival and Sitges Film Festival. Wikipedia
