Simon John Charles Le Bon (born 27 October 1958) is an English singer, songwriter, and lyricist, best known as the lead vocalist of the new wave band Duran Duran and its side project, Arcadia. Born in Bushey, Hertfordshire, he began performing at an early age, including West End theatre and television commercials, and studied drama at the University of Birmingham. He joined Duran Duran in 1980 and rose to prominence as the distinctive voice behind the band’s international hits in the 1980s. Le Bon has received multiple Ivor Novello Awards and was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2024 for his services to music and charity. Wikipedia
